Deadlines, revisions and approval

How obligations, uploads, revision rounds and approval work in the collaboration workspace.

Each deliverable line of an agreement becomes an obligation with its own deadline, upload slot and amount.

Deadlines

Draft due and publish by come from the agreement, in the agreed time zone. If the agreement has prerequisites (a product to ship, app access to grant), deadlines count from the moment the brand confirms them. Overdue items are flagged on both sides; nothing is cancelled automatically.

Uploads and revisions

The creator uploads a version with a note. The brand reviews it in the workspace and either:

  • requests changes with comments, which uses one of the agreed revision rounds; or
  • approves the version.

Beyond the agreed rounds, a further change needs an amendment both sides accept, usually with extra money.

Approval

Approval is the moment that matters: it releases the creator's earnings for that line, creates the brand's licence on that exact file version and moves the obligation to approved. Approval cannot be undone; a problem found later goes through a case.

Publication

If the terms require the creator to publish, the creator records the publication link in the workspace; the brand confirms it. Licences on published content track the publication date.
