Attribution, tracked links and brand-domain links

How clicks and conversions are linked to a creator, what a vanity link is, and what is stored.

Tracked links

Each creator gets a link per campaign. A click records the time, the campaign and the creator; no IP address or device fingerprint is stored. Identifiers are kept only with consent and only for the attribution window.

Brand-domain (vanity) links

When a brand has configured its funnel domain, creators share links on that domain (for example yourbrand.com/name). The brand's funnel resolves the link through a signed API call before the store, so app stores never see a creator code. Creators can request a custom name; the brand approves, renames or declines.

Conversions

Conversions come only from connected sources: a store, an app or the brand's CRM. Without a connection the performance report says unknown, never zero. A conversion inside the window is attributed by the commission rules; one that matches several rules or arrives late waits for a decision, which is recorded with its reason.

Commissions

A rule sets what a creator earns per attributed conversion and for how long after the click. Changing a rule never rewrites past commissions. Estimated amounts are not money owed; approved ones are.

Promo codes

A code attributes a purchase even when the link was not used. Codes are issued by the brand.
