CRM contacts and consent
What the brand CRM is for, what the three consent states mean, and the rules for outreach.
What it is
A private list of people you already have a basis to contact: customers, newsletter subscribers, past partners. It is separate from the creator marketplace and never visible to creators.
Consent states
| State | Meaning | Outreach |
|---|---|---|
| Unknown | No recorded basis to contact this person. | Not allowed |
| Opted in | You recorded a basis (source and reference). | Allowed |
| Suppressed | The person opted out or you suppressed them. Survives re-imports. | Never |
Changing a state records who did it and why.
Importing
Import a CSV with the source and consent per row. Suppressed addresses already on file stay suppressed even if the file says otherwise.
Outreach
Batches go to opted-in contacts only, one message each, with your brand as sender and a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribes suppress the contact immediately.
Privacy
E-mail addresses are stored encrypted; exports are logged. A data-subject request from one of your contacts is yours to answer; the platform gives you the export and suppression tools.
